Journeymen Electrician

Responsibilities:

  • Set up electrical service or installation calls as needed, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential settings.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose residential electrical systems.
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Identify and communicate electrical issues with customers, educating them on their systems, functions, and maintenance needs.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and customer service.
  • Follow all safety regulations and electrical codes to ensure compliance and workplace safety.
  • Other duties as assigned..

What You Will Bring:

  • Omaha Journeyman Electrical License
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential electrical services.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, basements).
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Ability to work at heights (e.g., ladders, elevated plat forms).
  • Manual dexterity to handle electrical tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor installations.
